Hawks Jr. played his last soccer game today. He scored a goal!For most of the season he really hasn't been interested in playing. He runs around and talks to the kids, but when the ball comes his way he runs in the opposite direction. Last week on the way to the game he informed me he was going to score a goal for me today. And about halfway through the game for about three possessions he got very interested in the game and scored a goal! Then immediately went right back to not being interested.
This week he and a girl teammate were talking and I don't know what was said but I heard Hawks, Jr. yell "I AM NOT A BABY!" and then he ran off after the ball and quickly took it straight to the goal and scored. He then went right back to the little girl got real close to her and said something to her.
The rest of the game the two of them were side-by-side.
